Hannes Reeh Calimero is a natural wine with rough edges. Not a wine for everyone – but an experience for the curious. Each edition is unique: the grape variety changes from year to year – sometimes Chardonnay, sometimes Traminer. Always limited, always an adventure in the glass.
Natural wine – raw, real, uncompromising
Natural wine means: as little intervention as possible, as much character as necessary. No filtration, no fining – but full of personality. Calimero matures in steel eggs and barriques, is bottled unfiltered – and pours naturally cloudy into the glass. Natural wine is wine without a soft-focus filter – direct, raw, and unvarnished.
Its taste also plays by different rules: sometimes edgy, sometimes unexpected, never interchangeable. Natural wine doesn’t try to please – and that’s exactly what makes it fascinating for connoisseurs. In the glass, you’ll never find polished perfection, but corners, edges, and uncompromising character without filters.
Not a wine for applause-seekers.
Calimero doesn’t repeat itself – it’s too real for the mainstream, too wild for routine.
Calimero Müller Thurgau (2024) – fruity and full-bodied, a wine with character.
Calimero Chardonnay Magnum (2023) – juicy and rich, strong in character and presence.
A wine that knows no repetition and needs no applause.
